Upon request of the Chief Financial Officer, a referral to the Finance Subcommittee the matter of a request to accept a grant from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Executive Office of Public Safety and Security in the amount of $4,330,000 for the purposes of establishing a regional 911 emergency communications district; and to add the position of Executive Director of the Regional Emergency Communications Center to the City's classification plan to be funded by the grant.
